Christopher Mey has officially launched a new company called Christopher May Premium Cigars. Based close to Miami International Airport, it’s a company designed for New World boutique brands of Nicaraguan origin. Mey has over three decades of experience in the importation and exportation of goods to over 100 countries on five continents.

Prior to launching his company, Mey was best known for his 21-year tenure at Rocky Patel Premium Cigars. He joined Rocky Patel in 2003. At the time, the company was known as Indian Tabac Cigar Company. During his time there he has been involved in all aspects of bringing cigars to the market. This includes roles such as Accounts Receivable Manager, Purchasing Manager, Production Manager, Logistics Manager, Cigar Factory Tour Manager, Territory Sales Manager, and Director of Global Business Development.

The first and flagship brand under Christopher Mey Premium Cigars is Esteban Carreras Cigars, owned by Craig Cunningham of Dana Point, California. Over the past twenty years, Esteban Carreras has built a strong market presence in the United States. Now, the company is looking to expand its reach globally.

“We are thrilled to partner with Esteban Carreras Cigar Company,” said Mey in a press release. “Their commitment to using only the finest high-quality aged wrappers and fillers sets them apart.”

Mey will also be at the Intertabac 2024 Trade Show from September 19-21 as a part of the Kopp Tobaccos GmbH & Co. KG booth.
