Domain Cigars Releasing N7B Prototype and Entropy Line | Cigar News

Domain Cigars, the brand owned by Daniel Lance and Esteban Disla, has announced two projects headed to retailers: the N7B Prototype and the Entropy line.

The N7B Prototype is a cigar that first appeared when Domain Cigar launched over six months ago. At the launch, Domain Cigars sent 100 retail partners a special sampler. The sampler contained Domain Cigars’ Negentropy, Neutron, and a mysterious third blend, the N7B Prototype. Now, the N7B will be making its way to select retailers.

The N7B Prototype features an AAA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. The company says 90% of the blend is derived from its Negentropy line. The blend also has a double ligero composition meant to showcase bold flavors. N7B was the first Domain project to receive approval for production. However, it was delayed due to what the company says are “several unforeseen” challenges.

While the N7B cigar is being released, it is a prototype. It was used as the basis for a final version that features a slight modification to the blend and a different crop of broadleaf tobacco. That modified blend is the Entropy, which is joining the Domain lineup as a regular production offering. Entropy then underwent additional fine-tuning, resulting in an extra year of development.
