Today, we examine the contents of the 2024 Smoke Inn Advent calendar for day 17. Warning: spoiler alert.
An Advent calendar counts down the days until Christmas. This tradition is believed to have originated with the German Lutherans. The calendar features moveable parts, such as flaps, doors, or pockets, that reveal a daily surprise. In 2021, Smoke Inn released its first Advent calendar, where the “surprise” is a different cigar daily. For the first time since 2021, Smoke Inn has redesigned the packaging.
Today’s reveal is the ADVentura Barbarroja’s Invasion Corona. ADVentura uses storytelling for its lines. Many of its lines focused on stories around the age of exploration. With Barbarroja’s Invasion, it’s a little different. The company describes this story as “a bit darker and more aggressive, in a world domination sort of way.” One interesting feature is when the box is opened, it reveals an audio message (which can be heard here). The audio message doesn’t come with the Advent Calendar.
