Gurkha Year of Snake

Gurkha Cigar Company is releasing its Year of Snake collection, which pays homage to the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Snake. Like last year, Gurkha is teaming up with multiple manufacturing partners to produce the cigars. The three manufacturing partners used for the Year of Snake also produced cigars for Gurka’s Year of the Dragon collection in 2024.

First up is Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s Year of Snake. This cigar is packaged in a ten-count blue box and features an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper and Ecuadorian Sumatra binder. The fillers are a mix of Mexican, Nicaraguan, and Dominican tobaccos. The cigar comes in one size—a 6 1/2 x 52 Toro.

Next is Oscar Valladares’s Year of Snake. This cigar is packaged in a ten-count red box and features a Habano wrapper over all Honduran tobaccos. It comes in one size—a 6 x 52 Toro.

Finally, there is the Year of Snake by Oliva Cigar Company. It is packaged in a ten-count black box and features a Mexican San Andres wrapper over Nicaraguan tobacco. The cigar comes in one size—a 6 5/8 x 52 Toro.

A series of Gurkha Year of Snake launch events begins this month at Smoke Inn’s The Great Smoke event.
