Diamond Crown Tampa

On Tuesday, July 15, J.C. Newman Cigar Company will launch the Diamond Crown Tampa. This cigar pays tribute to the city of Tampa, often referred to as Cigar City. It also pays homage to the state of Florida as it includes Florida Sun Grown (FSG) tobacco in the blend. Produced in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia in the Dominican Republic. It’s the first time the Fuente factory has released a cigar with Florida Sun Grown tobacco.

The launch event takes place at Corona Cigar Tampa, the store owned by Jeff Borysiewicz, who also owns the Florida Sun Grown Tobacco farm in Clermont, Florida.

Blend-wise, the Diamond Crown Tampa features a Connecticut Shade wrapper over a Dominican binder. The fillers are Florida Sun Grown tobacco and undisclosed tobacco. The Diamond Crown Tampa comes in one size – a 6 x 52 Toro. Production is limited and distribution is limited to Tampa, Florida.

The cigars come in 20-count boxes. The price is $30.00 per cigar.
