Last year, Abe Flores of Pinar del Rio Cigars opened up a new factory in the Dominican Republic. This new operation has allowed Pinar del Rio Cigars to continue to grow. Just starting to hit retailers are two new limited batch blends called the Pinar del Rio Small Batch Reserva Cubra.
The blends will feature a Habano version and a Habano Maduro version – both utilizing Brazilian tobacco for the wrapper. Each blend will be available in four frontmarks and sold in boxes of 24. Word is at this time only 100 boxes of each size have been produced (for a total of 9,600 cigars for each blend).
Here are the initial details of the cigars which will be sold under the Pinar del Rio name.
