Forged Cigar Company has introduced a new blend to the Alec Bradley Chunk line called the Alec Bradley Chunk Shade. This latest offering features a Connecticut Shade wrapper. The cigar is now shipping to retailers.

Originally, the Chunk was a short, thick vitola that had been part of the Alec Bradley portfolio for many years. Last year, STG introduced a new line with the Alec Bradley Chunk Maduro. Now, the Alec Bradley Chunk Shade follows the Alec Bradley Chunk Maduro.

Produced at the HATSA factory in Honduras, the Chunk Shade features a Honduran-grown Connecticut Shade wrapper over a U.S. Broadleaf binder. The fillers are a combination of Dominican, Honduran, and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Chunk Shade is available in three sizes, each measuring four inches, and features ring gauges ranging from 60 to 80.

“Chunk Shade is a fun and approachable cigar that rounds out the Chunk series in a big way,” said Bradley Rubin, brand ambassador for Alec Bradley, in a press release. “Fans love the short, wide format of Maduro, and with Shade we’re giving them the same bold shape but with a smooth, mellow profile that’s perfect for relaxing any time.”
