At the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show, Alec Bradley launched the new Alec Bradley Connecticut cigar.  This cigar marks the third year in a row Alec Bradley has launched a Connecticut Shade wrapper cigar. 

In 2010, Alec Bradley launched a Connecticut Shade version of their popular Maxx line.  In 2011, Alec Bradley launched the value-priced American Classic line – which contains a Connecticut Shade.  The Alec Bradley Connecticut is described as a different profile from the Maxx Connecticut and American Classic.  The blends of all three of these Connecticut Shade releases by Alec Bradley are all different.

The target for release is the early Fall of 2012.
