Alec Bradley Fine and Rare 2012 – Sealed Box |
At the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show, Alec Bradley had a sealed box representing the Alec Bradley Fine and Rare 2012 edition, but no cigars were on display. It probably is safe to say the Fine and Rare 2011 was one of the most sought after cigars of that year.
Alec Bradley was on the record before the show stating that there would be a Fine and Rare 2012 edition. Prior to the show, there had also been some indications it would be a torpedo vitola.
What we were able to find out was that there is a blend modification, there still would be an incorporation of ten tobaccos, and that there would be an increase in production. The August 14th Cigar Insider posted some additional information about the blend. Cigar Insider also mentioned production has been doubled to 2,000 boxes of ten cigars.
It is worth noting that a torpedo is not new to the Fine and Rare family. In 2011, there were 1,011 boxes made that contained ten torpedo vitolas of the Fine and Rare 2011. These were extremely limited in distribution.
