At the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show, Altadis formally announced a special version of its recently announced Montecristo Epic.  This will be a limited edition version of the Montecristo Epic that will come in a No. 2 vitola and will thus be called the Montecristo Epic No. 2. 

The packaging will be different for the Montecristo Epic No. 2 than the other vitolas in the Montecristo Epic line.  The Montecristo Epic No. 2 will be packaged in a red and white box.  The original Montecristo Epic will be packaged in a yellow and red box.

Like the core Montecristo Epic line, the Montecristo Epic No. 2 will be made by the highly skilled Grupos de Maestros team

The Montecristo Epic No. 2 is planned for an October 2012 release.

Blend Profile

The Montecristo Epic No. 2 will have the same tobacco composition as the Montecristo Epic line, but the blend itself is slightly tweaked.  All tobaccos will be from a 2007 vintage crop.
