Prior to the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show, Camacho Cigars announced it had entered in a partnership agreement with NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka to produce a new series of cigars. The cigars would carry the Ditka name and would be sold under the Camacho Cigars brand of Davidoff. Initial details have surfaced to retailers on the Ditka Series by Camacho. This is a series of three distinct blends and probably marks the biggest Camacho launch since the Room 101 line was launched in 2009.
Ditka was a Hall of Fame tight end who played twelve seasons in the NFL. He would eventually become the head coach of the Chicago Bears, leading them to victory in Super Bowl XX. He also coached the New Orleans Saints and has become a popular television commentator. Ditka has long been known for his fondness of cigars. This is not the first cigar to have the Ditka name.
Here are the particulars of the Ditka Series. Each of the cigars are packaged ten to a box. The boxes have a football themed design on it relating to the name of each blend.
