Romeo Bocados by Romeo y Julieta

Quietly, a fifth vitola in the Romeo y Julieta’s Romeo line has begun to surface at retailers.  This vitola adds a 5 x 44 corona size offering in the Romeo blend and is known as the Romeo Bocados.

The Romeo line made its debut in 2012. The new Romeo marked a change in the Romeo y Julieta offering something outside the brand’s reputation for milder smokers.  This blend combined with some contemporary packaging and branding has been put in place to capitalize on younger cigar enthusiasts.

We scored the Romeo toro a 91 back in June of 2012.

Blend Profile

The Romeo line is made at Altadis’ famed Tabacalera de Garcia. It uses the following blend

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano-seed
