The Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro will be launched by Oliva Cigar Company at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas. The Melanio Maduro will be a single vitola, limited production offering to complement the Oliva Serie V Melanio core line. Information on the release was reported in the 5/28/13 Cigar Insider. First details of the Oliva Serie V Melanio offering were reported at the end of 2012 by halfwheel.com.
The Cigar Insider report mentions that, 10,000 boxes of ten will be produced. In the report Dave Wagner, the Operations Director at Oliva mentions that he expects this to be an annual release. This would follow the path taken by Oliva when it releases its core Oliva Serie V Maduro annually.
The Oliva Serie V Melanio line made its debut at the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show. That cigar finished as our #24 Cigar for 2012.
