General Cigar has announced the fourth installment of the CAO Arcana Series with the release of CAO Stokk. This is a cigar produced in collaboration with the pipe tobacco brand Peter Stokkebye. CAO Stokk is described as a limited edition release. Both General and Peter Stokkebye are owned by Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG).
CAO Stokk has a filler that includes Dominican Andullo, Cyprian Fire-Cured Latakia, and Honduran tobaccos. The full blend consists of a U.S. Broadleaf wrapper and Nicaraguan binder. According to General Cigar, the first half of the CAO Stokk is highlighted by the Andullo tobacco, while fire-cured Latakia highlights the second half.
Produced at STG Estelí in Nicaragua, CAO Stokk is available in one size: a 6 1/2 x 52 Belicoso. Pricing is set at $12.99 per cigar.
“CAO is all about pushing the boundaries in tobacco exploration, said Cory Beardsley, brand manager for CAO. Working with Peter Stokkebye tobacco gave us the chance to blend a cigar that’s truly unique, not for the sake of novelty, but to show the unlimited possibilities when two traditions collide.”
Stokk follows Mortal Coil, Firewalker, and Thunder Smoke as releases in the CAO Arcana Series. The series has focused on unique tobaccos and the specialized processing methods behind them.
