The Inch by E.P. Carrillo will be adding a fourth vitola – a 7 x 70 called the No. 70. Information on this new vitola first surfaced in an interview with Ernesto Perez-Carillo on Over a Cigar at the 2013 Cigar Fest. Since then, the company posted additional information on its Facebook page.
According to the company, there will be a pre IPCPR Trade Show release of 500 boxes. There was an additional photo on Facebook with the caption indicating “‘new’ 7×70 INCH. Coming soon to the Big Apple. Late June.”
The Inch line was launched in 2012 by E.P. Carrillo geared toward large (60+ ring gauge cigars). It was launched in both a Natural (Ecuadorian Sumatra) and Maduro (Connecticut Broadleaf).
Blend Profile
The blend features a mix of Nicaraguan binder and Dominican filler for both the Inch Natural and Inch Maduro releases.
