E.P. Carrillo has unveiled a new cigar called Generosos. The cigar is being initially released to Chicago area retailer Casa de Montecristo (as well as its sister store 8 to 8 cigars). The cigar has launched this month and an initial launch party is scheduled for June 27, 2013 at the Casa de Montecristo store in Countryside, Illinois. Details of this release were reported on the company’s internet store blog, Top Quality Cigars.
According to the blog post, the Generosos will be only available at this time from the Casa de Montecristo/ 8 to 8 Cigars/Top Quality Cigars trifecta. No word on whether that could change in the future or if the cigar will make an appearance at 2013 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas.
It was also reported, owners Mike and Sam Khalil were involved with the development of this cigar. The cigar is described as a medium strength cigar.
2013 has been a very busy year for E.P. Carrillo. Earlier this year, the company released its fourth Short Run, the E.P. Carrillo Short Run 2013. The company has also recently released a 70 ring gauge frontmark in its Inch Series. Retail exclusive cigars have gone to Federal Cigar (E.P. Carrillo Medalla D’Oro) and Smokin’ Joe’s (E.P. Carrillo Smokin Joe’s Lounge Exclusive). The company has the E-Stunner and Perez-Carrillo cigars in the pipeline.
