Gurkha 125th Anniversary Special Edition

At the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Gurkha Cigar announced three special limited edition versions of its 125th Anniversary series. These editions introduce Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade, Honduran Corojo, and a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper versions of the 125h Anniversary blend.   The series is being called the “Gurkha 125th Anniversary Special Edition”.

For each of the three wrapper versions only one size is being made.  The Honduran Corojo and Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro versions are 6 x 60 while the Ecuadorian Connecticut is a 6 x 52 toro.  The binder and filler components remain the same.  Only 1000 boxes are being produced of each size.

The original Gurkha 125th Anniversary was launched at the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show and shipped toward the end of last year.  That cigar features a Brazilian Cubra Habano wrapper.  The original Gurkha 125th Anniversary scored a 91 this past February on Cigar Coop.

Gurkha 125th Anniversary Special Edition

The three 12th Anniversary Special Edition cigars are packaged in more of a lacquer style box as opposed to the mango wood used on the core 125th Anniversary.
