A couple of weeks ago, we noted a report from CigarNews.com in which Rocky Patel Premium Cigars talked about their upcoming releases for the 2013 IPCPR. The Rocky Patel Platinum was one of those cigars that was on display.
Rocky Patel has said he has a goal to get more vertically integrated. This blend is a step in that direction as some of the tobaccos come from Patel’s farms in Esteli and Condega, Nicaragua.
The cigar is expected to be on retailer shelves later this summer.
At a glance, let’s take a look at the Rocky Patel Platinum:
The wrapper is an 8th priming Habano Oscuro from Ecuador.
