For the past few year, Altadis USA has introduced or showcased a new Montecristo line at the IPCPR Trade Show. This year, as opposed to introducing a new line, the company turns to one of its tried and true blends, and launches an off-shoot of its Montecristo White line called the Montecristo White Vintage Connecticut. As the name indicates the cigar will feature an actual Connecticut wrapper from the New England state. The Montecristo White Vintage Connecticut will ship in July and be showcased there as well.
The wrapper of the Montecristo White Vintage Connecticut is what differentiates this cigar. It not only does originate from Connecticut River Valley, but it is grown on farms owned by Altadis. The wrapper itself comes from a 2008 vintage.
