This Spring, Southern Draw Cigars will launch a new blend called the QuickDraw Connecticut. The cigar will become Southern Draw’s first Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade Cigar and becomes the first cigar in the QuickDraw line to feature two vitolas. Plans are for the new QuickDraw Connecticut Blend to be rolled out through a series of events and cigar socials starting this month and continuing on through June, 2016.

The QuickDraw Connecticut is the third blend in the QuickDraw line joining the QuickDraw Ecuadorian Dark Habano and the QuickDraw Pennsylvania Broadleaf. The QuickDraw Connecticut will be available in a 4 1/2 x 44 petit corona size – a size seen in the Habano and Pennsylvania Broadleaf blends. In addition, the QuickDraw Connecticut will feature a 5 1/2 x 40 Short Panatela size – a new size for Southern Draw. Southern Draw Cigars has said the new short panatela will most likely be added across the whole QuickDraw line in 2016.

“The QuickDraw Connecticut blend was heavily influenced by our appreciation for Cafe Cubano, colada and cafecito, a blend offering the strength of dark roast espresso, the sweetness of hydrolyzed sugar and the light creaminess of the espumita or crema that sits atop the coffees. The connoisseur size vitolas were selected to further enhance the coffee experience,’ commented Robert Holt – Founder of Southern Draw Cigars in a press released. “The blend should be considered a celebration of the morning and mid-day cultural and social coffee-related activity that is prominent among most all Cuban and Latin Americans, many of whom have cultivated this fabulous cigar industry and whose knowledge and support has been a catalyst for Southern Draw Cigars’ entrance into the industry.  It is our sincere hope that the QuickDraw Connecticut blend will be enjoyed by die hard lovers of Connecticut wrapped cigars as well as those that typically reach for something a little bolder or more flavorful.” added Holt.

The QuickDraw line is geared for consumers who desire a affordable priced hand-made cigar that can be smoked in under 30 minutes.
