At the 2016 IPCPR Trade Show, PDR Cigars showed off a series fat perfecto line extensions to its Small Batch Reserve line. Dubbed “Wicked Pugs”, the perfectos each are a 60 ring gauge perfecto with a pig-tail cap.
Both the Small Batch Reserve Cubra Rosado (Habano) and the Small Batch Reserve Cubra Maduro will each receive three Wicked Pug extensions: Wicked Pug No. 1 (4 x 60), Wicked Pug No. 2 (5 x 60), and Wicked Pug No. 3 (6 x 60). Each of the three Wicked Pug sizes are packaged in 12 count boxes.
The Small Batch Reserve Cubra Rosado incorporates a Brazilian Cubra Rosado wrapper while the Small Batch Reserve Cubra Maduro uses a Brazilian Cubra Maduro one. Both blends use Dominican Criollo 98 for the binder and a combination of Nicaraguan and Dominican Corojo in the filler.
