The 2017 IPCPR Trade Show was the first one for Boutique Blends as a part of the Altadis U.S.A family. This year, the company’s signature product was the Aging Room Quattro F55 Maduro. If the name sounds familiar, that’s because it’s a maduro version of the popular Aging Room Quattro F55.
The Aging Room Quattro F55 Maduro was quietly released exclusively to Thompson Cigar earlier this year. Now Boutique Blends is taking the line national with a full distribution to all trade channels.
The blend for the Aging Room Quattro F55 Maduro is the same as the original F55, but the Sumatra wrapper is replaced with a San Andres Morron wrapper. Like the original F55, the blend is produced at Jochy Blanco’s Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic. It will be available in four box-pressed sizes sold in ten-count boxes. Production is slated to be about 400,000 cigars annually. The cigar is expected to ship to retailers this month.
