At the 2017 IPCPR Trade Show, Altadis U.S.A. officially launched a limited edition cigar known as the VegaFina Añejado 7 Años Robusto Extra. This is a cigar that originally got a launch in Europe, but got its official launch at this year’s trade show.
The VegaFina Añejado 7 Años Robusto Extra features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Indonesian binder, and fillers from Colombia, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. The blend contains tobaccos aged up to seven years.
While it was offered in Europe in two sizes, only one size was introduced to the U.S. market – a 6 x 50 Robusto Extra with a special pig-tailed finish. There is an additional 5 1/2 x 48 size that has been made available to the European market known as the Conde.
The VegaFina Añejado 7 Años Robusto Extra is available in 25-count boxes. Each cigar is priced at $6.00 SRP. Wider U.S. distribution is expected to begin in September.
