Espinosa Cigars has announced the upcoming release of a regional cigar for the Texas and Oklahoma markets known as “The Red River Valley”. The cigar is being released on October 14th. That date is significant because it is the date of the annual “Red River Showdown” between the University of Texas and Oklahoma University Football teams.
Scott Lewis, the regional manager for Espinosa Cigars came up with the concept for this project.
In a press release, Erik Espinosa commented, “That market is a priority for us, and our presence there has grown exponentially over the last 3 years. We believe an exclusive release for them is a perfect way to show our gratitude for their growing support.”
The cigar features a Mexican San Andres wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. It is being released in one size – a 6 x 50 Toro. It will be packaged in ten-count boxes and each cigar has a suggested retail price of $9.50. The cigar will be available at Texas and Oklahoma retailers that carry Espinosa brand products.
The Red River Valley is located in the Southern Great Plains and serves as a border between the Oklahoma and Texas.
