Daybreak has come for Phil Zanghi and Debonaire House. This month the long-awaited Connecticut Shade offering from Zanghi, the Debonaire Daybreak, is heading to retailers.
After working on some blend iterations, Zanghi came full circle and ended up using an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper on the original Debonaire blend featuring a Dominican binder and a combination of Dominican and Nicaraguan. It is available in six sizes: First Degree (4 x44 Short Perfecto, SRP $6.00), Sagitta (5 1/2 x 38 Petite Lancero, SRP $8.74), Robusto (5 x 50, SRP $12.46), Corona (SRP $11.53), Toro (6 x 50, SRP $13.00), and Belicoso (6 x 54, SRP $13.25).
“November is an exciting month and the Debonaire Ideal is alive and well! We had a great deal of positive feedback and interest in the Daybreak line at the IPCPR. We’ve been smoking a lot of these cigars, they continue to get better! Constantly staring at the product development this year from the box, to the inside-lid vista and the packaged product alike, Daybreak has given me a unique and nostalgic feeling of excitement in releasing another quality product into the industry I’ve been blessed to enjoy now for over 25 years. I cannot begin to express the excitement of the Debonaire lines growth, as well as the thanks and gratitude for those who enjoy my product and are willing to work with me!” commented Zanghi in a press release.
Debonaire House is distributed in the U.S. by Drew Estate. The Debonaire Daybreak is the first Connecticut Shade cigar to be exclusively sold through Drew Estate’s premier retailers, the Drew Diplomat.
