Kafie 1901 Cigars has announced it will be introducing a line of premium bundles under the San Jerónimo brand. Concurrently, the company will also give a packaging upgrade to its current Kafie 1901 premium bundle line. Both the new San Jerónimo bundle and upgraded Kafie 1901 bundle are scheduled to hit retailers April 15.
San Jerónimo is the oldest brand in existence in Honduras and is named for a tobacco producing region in Honduras. It is produced at Kafie 1901 Cigars’ factory, Tabacalera G.Kafie y Cia and distributed in the U.S. by Kafie 1901 cigars. The new San Jerónimo bundles will be offered in three sizes (5 x 50, 6 x 54, and 6 x 60). The cigars will be available in a natural and maduro offering and will incorporate tobacco from the San Jerónimo region. The cigars will be banded and feature an image of a whitetail deer, the national animal of Honduras.
The Kafie 1901 bundles will now receive a band with the name “Liga De La Casa” which is Spanish for “House Blend”. These cigars are also available in a natural and maduro offering and are available in five sizes (5 x 50, 5 x 56, 6 x 54, 6 x 60, 7 x 50). These cigars are produced at Tabacalera G. Kafie y Cia and are often smoked on a daily basis by those who work at the factory.
