For many years, Global Premium Cigars and 1502 Cigars could be considered interchangeable, but all of that changed this year as Global Premium Cigars introduced its second brand called Cachitos.

Cachitos introduces a value-priced bundle-packaged offering – filling a gap that existed in CEO Enrique Sanchez’s cigar portfolio. Cachitos utilizes a Nicaraguan wrapper over a Honduran binder and a combination of Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers.

Cachitos comes in one size – a 4 1/2 x 50 petite robusto packaged in 20-count bundles. Like the rest of Global Premium Cigars’ portfolio, the cigar comes out of the Plasencia factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Meanwhile, the 1502 brand was prominently on display – highlighted by the 1502 XO Torpedo, the latest size of the 1502 XO line to get a full launch. The 1502 XO Is Global Premium Cigars’ ultra-premium line. Sanchez isn’t disclosing the details of the blend other than its using 18-year-old tobacco and it is also coming out of the Plasencia factory.
