With Inter-Tabac 2018 scheduled to open in Dortmund, Germany, Maya Selva Cigars will unveil a cigar to commemorate the upcoming 2019 Chinese New Year with its Year of the Pig release.

The Year of the Pig features a Habano wrapper from the Jamastrán valley of Honduras, a Nicaragua binder from Jalapa, and a combination of Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigar is available in a single size – a 6 x 52 Toro. The cigars are packaged in 19-count wooden cabinet boxes. The cigars are banded with Maya Selva’s Flor de Selva branding. The cigar is also described as a limited edition cigar.

2019 has been designated as Year of the Pig under the Chinese Zodiac. This is the second Chinese New Year release for Maya Selva. Last year, Maya Selva released the Year of the Dog as a limited release targeted for Asian Market

A full launch of the Maya Selva Year of the Pig is planned for November 18, 2018.
