White Hat Cigars has announced two store exclusive vitolas of its H.R. Signature line. Corona Cigar Company, based in Central Florida has received a lancero offering while Fox Cigar Bar in Arizona will receive a Gran Toro. Both cigars are being released to commemorate what would have been Allejandro Robaina’s 100th birthday, the grandfather or Hirochi H, who the H.R. cigar is named for.
The H.R. Signature Lancero is a traditional 7 x 38 vitola. According to White Hat Cigars, the cigars have been aging at the La Corona factory for two years. It is available in 20-count bundles. Pricing is set at $12.95 per cigar or $259.00 per bundle. The H.R. Signature Lancero is currently available at Corona Cigar Company’s three Orlando stores, its Davidoff Tampa location, and its online store.
Meanwhile the H.R. Signature Gran Toro is a 5 1/2 x 58 sized parejo. According to White Hat Cigars, it has been aging for five years at the La Corona factory. It will be available in 10-count boxes. Pricing is set $14.95 per cigar or $149.50 per box. The H.R. Signature Gran Toro is expected to be available in May at Fox Cigar Bar’s two locations and online store.
Blend-wise, both new vitolas feature an Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper over a binder from Jalapa and a combination of fillers from Nicaragua (Jalapa and Estelí), and Pennsylvania. Production is handled at the La Corona factory in Estelí, Nicaragua – the operation run by Omar Gonzalez Aleman.
“We are excited to celebrate what would be Alejandro’s 100th Birthday by releasing two exclusive cigars to two of our amazing retail partners,” commented Spence Drake of White Hat Cigars.
