Santa Clara Cigars, the brick and mortar distribution arm of JR Cigars and Casa de Montecristo, will formally launch its Romeo y Julieta Crafted by Plasencia at the 2019 IPCPR Trade Show. It’s an exclusive offering that Santa Clara is distributing under the Romeo y Julieta name.
“We expect this release to be a big hit with adult cigar smokers,” said David Joyce, director of wholesale operations for Santa Clara in a press release. “It is specially crafted for Santa Clara by the legendary Plasencia family using one of the most famous brand names in the world – Romeo y Julieta.”
The cigar itself is a Nicaraguan puro highlighted by a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano binder, and all-Nicaraguan fillers. The cigar is available in three sizes: Robusto, Toro, and Piramide.
“We’re confident the Romeo y Julieta Crafted by Plasencia will once again highlight Santa Clara’s success in collaborating with great cigar makers to craft cigars that make a difference in your sales,” added Joyce.
Last year, Plasencia produced the Romeo y Julieta 1875 Nicaragua for the Romeo y Julieta brand distributed by Altadis U.S.A.
The 2019 IPCPR Trade Show opens June 29, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
