At the 2019 IPCPR Trade Show, Manifatture Sigaro Toscano will launch a new limited edition cigar, the Toscano Stilnovo.

The name Stilnovo is derived from the name “Dolce Stil Novo” and was a new style of writing that was spearheaded by Dante Alighieri. It’s also an appropriate name for Toscano, as it involves a different technique than the company has used in order to produce this cigar.

Toscano’s cigars are ordinarily rolled without a binder. However, the Toscano Stilnovo marks the first time the brand has used one.

The blend features American Fire Cured Kentucky tobacco over a fermented Italian dark fire-cured leaf and fillers of Italian dark fire-cured Kentucky tobacco aged 4 years. The cigar comes in the 6 x 40 perfecto format that Toscano is known for and may be smoked whole or in two halves.

Toscano Cigars utilize fire-cured tobacco and as a result, they are known to maintain good moisture content outside the humidor. Toscano says that even with the binder, the Stilnovo can still maintain the moisture levels.

The 2019 IPCPR Trade Show opens on June 29th in Las Vegas, Nevada. Toscano Cigars are distributed by Miami Cigar and Company in the U.S.
