Cigar News: Dapper Cigar Company to Launch Siempre Rosado

Dapper Cigar Company has announced the release of Siempre Rosado. It’s a cigar that will first be released in a Corona size to SmallBatchCigar.com with a national release slated for the Tobacco Plus Expo (TPE) 2021.

The blend features dark Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder from the Jalapa Valley and fillers from the U.S. and Nicaragua. The Siempre Rosado Corona (5 5/8 x 46) will first be released to Small Batch and available in 20 count boxes. Production is handled at the NACSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua

According to Dapper Cigar, the collaboration has been in the works for almost two years “over many bottles of wine and dinners with the crew at Small Batch Cigar.” The project started with the Siempre Sun Grown blend and evolved from there. Dapper Cigar Company Owner and Founder Ian Reith and Raul Disla went to work and continuously challenged their comfort zones, working with tobaccos and primings outside the boundaries of anything that Dapper has on the market today.

“To do this collaboration justice, we knew from the beginning that we’d have to create something bigger and bolder than ever before. We needed a full-bodied, flavorful experience that fires on all cylinders whether it’s your first cigar of the evening or your fourth cigar while packing orders,” said Ian Reith in a press release.

“It’s flattering to make a cigar for the guys that recognized and supported your brand from the beginning. And I took that to heart, wanting to honor them in return by creating a blend that’s worthy of their exclusive catalog while inspiring each of our palates. In the end, I feel that this cigar is one of the best that I’ve ever blended personally,” added Reith.

Plans are for a national launch of the Churchill, Robusto, and Toro sizes of the Siempre Rosado at TPE 2021.
