Today, La Aurora issued the following statement in regards to the announcement
To Our Valued Customers –
On the heels of Miami Cigar’s recent restructuring announcement, La Aurora, the oldest Dominican Cigar Factory, wants to assure its Valued Customers all over the country, that they will be able to order their La Aurora Cigars uninterrupted from Miami Cigar Co.
La Aurora is confident that the MCC important decision will result in better service for us all.
While the letter does say La Aurora can still be ordered through Miami Cigar and Company, there was no confirmation in terms of the long term commitment. As for Toscano Cigars, the company has not issued a statement.
Miami Cigar and Company’s restructuring is going to drastically reduce its company’s sales and marketing force. Since the announcement several representatives and brokers have confirmed that come January 1, 2021 they will no longer be with the company.
