The Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) has announced it has cancelled its 2021 Annual Meeting and Convention due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. The event had been scheduled to take place April 11-15, 2021 at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic.

This is the second consecutive year the TAA has cancelled its Annual Meeting and Convention. Last year the pandemic also wiped out the 2020 event.

TAA says its Annual Meeting will now be a virtual event and will take place March 23, 2021. This is similar to what was done following the cancellation of the 2020 event.
