The Alec Bradley Black Market Estelí Diamond is returning for 2021. The cigar features a unique diamond shaped vitola. Alex Bradley has confirmed the cigars will head to retailers beginning in June.

The diamond-shaped vitola was something originally offered as an extension to the Alec Bradley Nica Puro on an annual basis. Last year, it was announced the Black Market line would now feature the diamond-shaped vitola. Originally the 2020 edition of the Alec Bradley Black Market Estelí Diamond was slated to be released in June of 2020, but was delayed until October due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The 2020 Black Market Esteli Diamond cigars were an immediate success,” said Alec Bradley Director of Sales & Marketing, Jonathan Lipson in a press release. “Covid19 disruptions changed the game for us in 2020, but consumer demand for the limited edition cigars and the ability to slot production in 2021 happily allows us to target a June release. We are elated that we are able to provide this treat to our partners and advocates!”

The Alec Bradley Black Market Esteli Diamond features a double binder combination of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves and fillers from Nicaragua. The blend for the Diamond incorporates an extra filler leaf of Nicaraguan Ligero Habano. The cigar measures 6 1/2 x 54. A total of 1,500 16-count boxes have been produced. Pricing is set at $10.15 per cigar. Production is handled at the Plasencia S.A. facility Nicaragua.
