At the 2021 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Zander-Greg will showcase a new limited edition under its Nat Cicco brand. The cigar will commemorate 55 years of the Nat Cicco brand and is called the Nat Cicco Fifty Five. Details of the Nat Cicco Fifty Five were first reported by Cigar Aficionado.
Technically 2021 is the 56th anniversary of Nat Cicco, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the release was pushed back.
The Nat Cicco Fifty Five was blended at Tabacalera Von Eicken (Charles Fairmorn Factory) by Rolando Villamil. The Tabacalera Von Eicken connection comes from Epic Cigars, which has the majority of its regular production come from that factory. Zander-Greg acquired Epic Cigars a couple of years ago.
The cigar is a bullet-shaped 6 1/4 x 60 figurado consisting of a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Java Indonesian binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The cigars will be packaged in 10-count boxes. Pricing is set at $16.00 – a higher price point from a brand known for value smokes.
The Nat Cicco Fifty Five is expected to ship to retailers in October.
