At the 2021 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Oliva Cigar Company introduced three new sizes to its Serie V Melanio Maduro line.
Joining the lineup for Oliva Serie V Melanio are the No. 4 (4 1/2 x 46), Toro (6 x 52) and a Double Toro (6 x 60). The new line extensions feature the same blend as the rest of the line – a Mexican San Andres wrapper over all-Nicaraguan tobaccos. Both the Serie V Melanio and the Serie V Melanie Maduro line each have seven vitolas. Also at the PCA Trade Show, a Toro size was introduced to the Serie V Melanio (Natural) line.
The new line extensions are presented in ten-count boxes
Melanio gets its name from Oliva family patriarch Melanio Oliva. Melanio Oliva was a tobacco grower in 19th century Cuba. He is believed to be the first Oliva family member to grow tobacco.
