Maya Selva Cigars is a company that has been in business since 1995. It has built its footprint in Europe but for the past seven years has been working on getting into the U.S. market. This year, Maya Selva focused its attention on the Tobacco Plus Expo (TPE) Trade Show and skipped the 2021 Trade Show. The company brought a line to the show that would be geared for the U.S. market, the Cumpay Maduro Robusto.

Cumpay Maduro is a line that has been in the Maya Selva portfolio for several years. The cigar is a 100% Nicaraguan puro. Up until this year, the cigar was only available in one size – a plump 5 x 60 vitola. The new Robusto offering brings a smaller vitola measuring 4 3/4 x 50. The cigar is presented in 20-count boxes.
