At the end of this month, JRE Tobacco Co. will release a candela offering under its Aladino brand appropriately called the Aladino Candela.

According to JRE Tobacco Co-President Justo Eiroa, the Aladino Candela is being released to select retailers. As in the past, these retailers are being selected based on the ones who have visited the JRE Tobacco Farm in Honduras. Justo Eiroa told Cigar Coop the goal is to bring candela into a regular production SKU, but this soft launch will test the demand in doing so.

The JRE Tobacco Candela features a candela wrapper over Honduran binder and fillers. The Honduran tobacco comes from the JRE Tobacco Farm and includes the Eiroa’s signature Corojo tobacco. The cigars will come in one size – a 5 x 50 Robusto. Each will be available in 20-count boxes. Pricing is set at $8.50 per cigar.
