Back at the 2022 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, E.P. Carrillo introduced a limited cigar sampler of three unreleased cigar blends known as the Platinum Bash. The release was meant to commemorate E.P. Carrillo founder Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr‘s 70th birthday. The idea behind the concept is consumers would be able to select which one of the three blends should become a limited edition release. At the recent Total Product Expo (TPE), E.P. Carrillo began taking orders for the winning blend – which is also being dubbed the E.P. Carrillo Platinum Bash. The cigar is expected to reach retailers in late April.

The winning blend was the cigar in the sampler with the platinum-colored footer ribbon. The blend features a Mexican San Andres wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The Platinum Bash will be available in one size – a 6 x 52 Toro. A total of 500 ten-count boxes were produced.

Pricing for the E.P. Carrillo Platinum Bash is set at $15.00 per cigar.

The blend details of each of the cigars in the Platinum Bash have not been disclosed. Each of the cigars comes in a 6 x 52 Toro. The cigars are banded but feature a different footer ribbon to distinguish one from the other.

The Platinum Bash was recently showcased at the 2022 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show.
