The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) has announced today it has hired Antoine Reid as its Director of Content. In this new role for the organization, Reid will be responsible for overseeing content creation and production for PCA’s various platforms.
The PCA says Reid’s primary focus to begin will be creating new digital content, updating the PCA Almanac, and engaging with manufacturers for content and stories leading up to and at the PCA trade show.
Reid is best know for his work as an editor for Tobacco Business magazine and his Deep Cuts Live podcast.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled that Antoine is joining our team,” said PCA Executive Director Scott Pearce. “With his years of experience, his passion for the industry, and his skill sets, he is going to be a vital asset to PCA and I have no doubt our content and communications are going to accelerate to the benefit of our membership and the industry. Having staffed up recently, and the success we had last year, I am very excited about all of the momentum we have and the many new programs we will be rolling out,” said Pearce.
“Over the past decade, helping to tell the story of those in the premium cigar and pipe tobacco space has been more than a job–it’s been a passion. I am excited to be able to continue this work now with the PCA and delivering engaging and impactful content to the industry in written, video and audio form. I am excited for everyone to see, read and watch what we have in the work,” added Reid.
Reid’s hiring is effective March 21, 2023.
