José Blanco of Arturo Fuente will be moving into an expanded role. Today the company announced that Blanco will be its new Worldwide Brand Ambassador.

“I’m excited for the challenge of this new role and grateful to Carlito (Fuente) for this opportunity!” said an excited José Blanco in a phone conversation with Cigar Coop confirming his new role.

Blanco joined Arturo Fuente in March, 2020 as the Director of Sales for the Eastern Hemisphere. In that role, Blanco’s responsibilities also included events and education. During his tenure, Blanco’s focus has been on Europe. In his expanded role, he will now be traveling more to the U.S. market. Prior to the announcement, some retailers have already confirmed to Cigar Coop that Blanco would be visiting the U.S.. While he has spent the majority of the past three years in the Eastern Hemisphere, he has remained popular with retailers and consumers the U.S. market.
