Lampert Cigars has updated the packaging on its El Gringo. The company says that while the packaging has changed, the blend and cigar ring remain the same.

El Gringo comes in one size – a 5 x 50. As for the blend, it features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a three-year-aged Ecuadorian binder and a combination of three-year-aged Dominican and five-year-aged Peruvian Pelo del Oro. Production for the El Gringo comes from Tabacos de Costa Rica in Costa Rica. Pricing is set at $15.00 MSRP. The cigars are presented in ten-count boxes.

El Gringo is the second cigar from Lampert’s My Cigar Lab project to be repackaged as its own brand. My Cigar Lab was one of Lampert Cigars’ earliest projects that focused on creating private label blends for customers. Late last year, Don Patron became the first of the My Cigar Lab offerings to get repackaged. There is also a third cigar under pyramid-shaped cigar for My Cigar Lab known as Gatsby that has not been repackaged at press time.

Lampert Cigars has said El Gringo with the new packaging is now shipping.
