Procigar has announced the dates for its annual festival will be February 18 to 23, 2024 in the Dominican Republic. This will mark the 16th edition of the festival. Procigar made the announcement of its dates on its social channels.

Procigar is an organization of cigar manufacturers based in the Dominican Republic. Each year they put on an annual festival that is a combination of farm and factory tours, seminars, and gala evening events. It is put on for end-consumers and is usually held in February. It is one of three major festivals in the cigar industry with the others being Festival del Habano (Cuba) and Puro Sabor (Nicaragua).

The dates are the third week of February and are consistent with past practice.

“In this festival we celebrate the successes and the trajectory of more than three decades of our Association. This has been achieved thanks to the commitment of each of our members to our history, culture, and tradition. Today, we are recognized as the best producers of premium cigars in the world”, said Hendrik Kelner, president of Procigar. in a press release.”

The festival will start in the southeast area of the Dominican Republic and then switch to Santiago.

There are twelve Dominican Companies represented by Procigar. This will be the first festival that Arnold André will be a part of as a member of Procigar. Arnold André was announced as the 12th member of Procigar at the end of the Procigar 2023 festival.
