At the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, HVC Cigars will introduce a regular production Connecticut Shade Cigar into its portfolio, the HVC Hot Cake Golden Line.

The HVC Hot Cake Golden Line comes from Fabrica de Tabacos HVC S.A., the factory that HVC Cigars’ owner Reinier Lorenzo opened. The blend features an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers featuring tobaccos from Jalapa and Estelí.

The HVC Hot Cake Golden Line is the second blend under HVC’s Hot Cake line, which is a San Andres Maduro introduced in 2020. The Golden Line comes in the same four sizes (Corona Gorda, Laguito No. 4, Laguito No. 5, Gran Cañon) as the original Hot Cake line. Each is presented in 25-count boxes. Plans are for the HVC Golden Hot Cake to ship in July.

The 2023 PCA Trade Show opens July 7 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
