In 2022 Tatuaje’s Surrogates brand celebrated its tenth anniversary releasing a cigar known as the Surrogates Big Ten. In addition to it being the 10th anniversary, this also happened to be the tenth blend released under the Surrogates line. At the time of that release, the Surrogates Big Ten was released in Tatuaje’s signature Britanicas Extra perfecto measuring 5 3/8 x 48 perfecto. This is a size Pete Johnson tends to use for limited or special releases. Fast forward to the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA), and this year there will be a new Surrogates that will be a regular production cigar in the form of a 5 1/4 x 52 Robusto.
Like previously, the Surrogates Big Ten features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over all Nicaraguan tobaccos. The cigars are packaged in 20-count boxes. Pricing is set at $9.50 per cigar.
The following are the ten blends of Surrogates:
- Skull Breaker
- Bone Crusher
- Tramp Stamp
- Crystal Baller
- Animal Cracker
- Satin Glove
- 7th Sam
- Eight Baller
- Animal Cracker Cracker Crumbs
- BigTen
