Lampert Cigars has announced it will take over its own distribution in the U.S. market. As a part of this move, the company has hired Andrew Rock as its new U.S. Sales Director. Rock will report directly to Dr. Stefan Lampert, the founder of Lampert Cigars, based in Austria.

The company says it will establish a network of brokers complimented by an in-house team of dedicated sales representatives. The company says this move will better serve the needs of the U.S. premium cigar market.

Over the past two years, Lampert announced it had expanded its distribution into Slovakia, Canada, Norway, Hungary, the Netherlands, Iceland, Italy, Croatia, and the United Arab Emirates.

The change will be effective on November 1, 2023.
