Ceniza Fina, a new brand created by Sam and Rosie Lopez of Fine Ash Cigars, is getting set to launch. The new cigar line is being produced at Hostos Fernandez Quesada‘s Tabacalera La Isla in the Dominican Republic. Pospiech Cigars is handling distribution. The name Ceniza Fina is Spanish for Fine Ash.
Ceniza Fina consists of a Corojo wrapper over a Mexican binder and a combination of Piloto Cubano, Criollo ’98, Nicaraguan Jalapa, and Havana Vuelta Abajo (HVA). The cigars are available in three sizes, each presented in 20-count boxes. This includes Corona Gorda, Robusto, and Toro. Pricing ranges from $9.50 to $10.50. Production is set at 5,000 cigars (250 boxes) per size.
“We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Hostos on Ceniza Fina. This partnership is the result of our friendship and shared passion for exceptional cigars. We’ve always admired the quality and craftsmanship of Hostos blends and expertise in tobacco and cigar making. We are excited for the cigar community to be able to enjoy Ceniza Fina, as much as we do!” said Sam and Rosie Lopez in a press release.
“Very excited to be working with my family from Fine Ash again on this new project. A great cigar from some great people,” added Hostos Fernandez Quesada.
