Tatuaje has announced it will release Capa Especial versions of its Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Belle Encre and Bon Chasseur. Capa Especial is the name given to Tatuaje releases that feature an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. The new Belle Encre and Bon Chasseur Capa Especial cigars will be limited releases.
The Belle Encre and Bon Chasseur were both introduced as regular production cigars for Tatuaje’s 10th anniversary. Those cigars are highlighted by a Habano Ecuador line. Last year, Tatuaje featured Tuxtla versions of the Belle Encre and Bon Chasseur – both featuring a Mexican San Andres wrapper.
Tatuaje says the reason for doing this is to show how much a cigar can change when a different wrapper is used. The company said this concept helps to educate the consumer’s palate and help them understand why they like different tobaccos.
A total of 3,000 20-count boxes of each size, Belle Encre (5 3/8 x 48 perfecto) and Bon Chasseur (5 3/8 x 52) will be released.
The two Belle Encre and Bon Chasseur Capa Especial releases are expected to ship in late January.
