At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, La Aurora Cigars is launching the latest installment of the Puro Vintage series, the La Aurora Puro Vintage 2014. The Puro Vintage series is a limited production line of cigars where each installment is made up of what La Aurora considers the best tobaccos harvested from a particular year. Tobaccos harvested from 2014 are used for the Puro Vintage 2014. An Ecuadorian Havana leaf is used for the wrapper and binder over fillers of Colombian, Dominican, and Nicaraguan tobaccos.
Like most of the previous Puro Vintage releases, the Puro Vintage 2014 is a Salomon, measuring 6 1/2 x 50/60. Pricing is set at $26.50 per cigar.
“The Salomon format gives this cigar a very special smoke,” commented Master Blender Manuel Inoa, who has said the Puro Vintage is one of his favorite releases. “Its shape, the doble figurado, makes it evolve differently as it opens and closes the ring during the burning, accumulating strength at the end. A real festival of taste from around the world.”
The La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic produces the Puro Vintage 2014. In total, there will be 1,000 eight-count boxes made. The cigar carries a price point of $26.40 MSRP/cigar or $212.00 MSRP/box.
